i realized i was overreaching in my pursuits. the fallout is about 500 to 600 dubstep songs completely distorting the dimensions of my library.

so here are 7 songs, and no more than 7 songs, that i dont hate.

also this is a great way to unload GIFs that wont show up on TJs facebook when the assorted albums come. and i just realized i have 7 skate GIFs loaded, so fuck you all.


1. Oasis - Wonderwall (Figure Drumstep)

i used to listen to this fucker on the radio when it came out, and the original still provides the entire backbone of this song (thank god), because figure really doesnt do a goddamn thing to it. it sounds lovely and ive probably listened to it 20 times since wearezero posted it.



2. Katy B - Katy On A Mission (Helicopter Showdown)

i wonder what helicopter showdown would describe their sound as. melochaostep? chaodicstep? either way, this song doesnt have 'heavy on the hip motherfucker, come get some'.



3. Major Lazer - Never Good Enough (Killabits)

GAAAWWD DAYUM if you recall the retarded, forever-fucked manner in which i dance, imagine me doing that every morning, drink in hand, in my bathroom. because its REAL MOTHERFUCKER.



4. Russo - Bad Tonight (Shock One)

i dont say this a lot, but i would love for the lyrics to come back again in the second half of the song. it sounds fucking phenomenal; the mix of the poppy-kinda lyrics with a really sharp, bassy break.



5. Porter Robinson - Spitfire (Kill The Noise)

because i, for one, refuse to entrust the future of electrohouse&bass to excision.



6. Diukvil - Ritty (Ekinof solo)

ive tried to include this in several gift tapes but its never worked. i think. and this is replacing a distorted minds & DJ hazard song that got dull. really cool breaks.



7. Tay Dizm - Beam Me Up (Butch Clancy)

8. Robyn - Dancehall Queen (Dillon Francis)

fuck you, theres more than 7. i have woken up several times singing this song. it should be a goddamn war crime to make something this catchy. also the bass is incredible in a car, the diplo version is lame, and dillon francis delaying the chorus until an afterthought at the end is SO. EFFECTIVE. this is my favorite version.
