it's really, really reminiscent of disrupt, only jazzy 8-bitty trip hop instead of tron-laced dub. it's also very similar to fancy mike but, i dunno, with just airy walls of minor pads fading around loudly. and its short as dicks.
too...goddamn spacey to sit around lorn's macabre tone, not nearly awake enough to compare to rustie.
fancy mike + disrupt + broken soul-tipper. that's the one.
i was kind of hoping for an entire album of rusty break, but this is real cool. like if break science just made jazz, or fancy mike always had to play in the dark, or tycho went from one guy to 5, two of whom were from tera melos.

Backstory: So on Mooncircle's MySpAzzZ, it's written that "Nothing can stop you and I, only the illusions of obstacles in your mind." This Russian girl, Jinna Morocha, told the label of her lifelong dream of going to the moon, and she asked if they could take her there (w0t). She flew to Obscuremany (Berlin) to discuss further. "We can't take you to the moon," Mooncircle puts on sunglasses, "but we can take you closer!" Yeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaahhhhh! So Mooncircle had a bunch of their artists make tracks for a compilation to send this girl's mind on a journey to the moon. And they did a pretty fucking remarkable job.

Downtempo all over the place release. Lots of genre's blended here, think Nosaj Thing and Flying Lotus. Good for background and working [surfing the internet]. Orion's Belt Buckle is a standout track
