Whirr - Pipe Dreams (2012)

So this is the debut LP from Whirr, long awaited after the June and Distressor EPs and it's just as poppy, and jangly, and shoegazey as everything else, but there's something different about this release. Something about the general vibe I get, and the way the wall of sound coalesces with the perfect voice singing along. I can't quite put my finger on it, but give it a spin. Try to tell me you don't like it.

Salem - King Night 2010

this one is kind of hard to explain. really really fuzzy, drum machine and synth driven drone-step pop witch house. it is really really beautiful, like crystal castles on a benzo overdose. killer is one of my favorite songs of all time. hound, redlights, and the title track are all really good too. its hard to suggest a specific time to listen to this, but it is highly recommended either way.

Letting Up Despite Great Faults - s/t (2009)

Amazingly soft and sweet glitch/dream pop. This music is amazing to fall asleep and wake up to, I highly recommend this. One of my newest favorite dream pop bands, and one of those albums you can cuddle to and watch the rise to.
