Vile Intent - Shadow of the Skull 2010

One of the best bands doing this right now. Everything I've heard by them is perfect. It's hell-gnashing speed meets tortured sludge. Vocals are somewhere between Crossed Out and Spazz. Drums are better than both. Lots of stops, lots of variation. Canada does it again. Powerviolence or FUCK YOU!

way more consistent and catchy than the old ones, like an even less abrasive yeah yeah yeah's with a hefty dose of canadian politeness. there are no songs on this album that i hate yet, and ive listened to it like three times now. miraculous.

Lullabye Arkestra - Threats / Worship 2009

Awesome. Drummer and bassist from domakesaythink, husband and wife duo. Sounds like Kylesa playing Jucifer covers. Or Jucifer playing White Stripes covers while Kylesa watches. Really really cool. And theyre on Vice's record label now. Look at them. They look like awesome heavy metal, and Canada, and like they normally play in domakesaythink.
