Shilpa Ray and Her Happy Hookers - Teenage and Torture 2011

Do you like women who smoke cigarettes, are a little rude, probably spit a lot, and sound like they are really really cute? (doesn't really work for switched gender rolls). Then you will love this. Although, when I actually saw a picture of Shilpa Ray I felt extremely cheated and let down. Besides the point. Its raw, and full of spunk

What kind of bees make milk?......Boobies!!!!

Buzz And The Flyers - S/T 1981

im up to 13190 songs, and i forgot i had this. new girl friend and boomerang are amazing. apparently it surprised a lot of people that buzz/dig wayne is black, although based on the cover alone id be surprised too ('i nearly airbrushed her into oblivion...').

Montezumas - s/t (2006)

This is The Tallest Man on Earth's other band, Montezumas.

They play strange indie-garage-pop rock. It's fucking great.

listen.

Ultra Chicks Vol. 1: Filles in the Garage!

completely stolen from WFLM, and I will ostensibly do some more research into it, but at the moment, just know that it's french girl garage rock, and it's absurdly awesome.

The Pillows - FLCL OST #1-3 2000

in addition to being one of my favorite shows ever, this is one of the best, most encompassing, and well-written soundtracks to anything ever made.

if you havent seen FLCL, please please steal the shit out of it (its only 6 episodes), because i dont think theres anyone left who cares if you do. pay attention to whether or not your copy is dubbed or subtitled though, because the jokes kind of...metamorphose between languages.

dont like anime? dont like bass guitars, baseball, space, TEEN HORNINESS, robotics, large cats, eyebrows, foreheads, vespas, gunslingers, arson, running away from home, stale bread, bitter soda, or space pirates?

i dont give a shit. watch the show.

JEFF the Brotherhood - Heavy Days (2009)

Imagine your dad when he was 22 years old; worshiping the Beach Boys and Dick Dale, trying to emulate The Stooges and surfing every fucking day. Dear ol' dad sweating it out in his parents garage on summer vacation with his pals, that's what this album sounds like.
