DRUM AND BASS

A bunch of different styles of DnB and one dubstep track that squeezed his way in. ENJOY!

Jayglo - Wiseau Funk (dubstep)

Counterstrike and Nanotek - Blackness

Black Sun Empire - Fever

Gemini - Destiny (good fruity dnb from Gemini, not as good as their DUBSTEP but still pretty great)

Example - Won't Go Quietly (Cyantific Remix)

Counterstrike & Gein - Pentagram VIP (!!!) It's in 256kbps but still sounds great :)

Kanji Kinetic - Zombiezz (!!!)

Stickbubbly - This is This

Doctor P - Big Boss (Oscillator Z Drumstep Remix) (!!!!!!!!)

BOOM CLAP! If you have any requests for songs just leave a comment and I'll try my best to get it for you :)

Glasses - The Ills of Life 2010

okay so remember when light this city broke up and ben and laura made a punk band? of course you do. this is what it should have sounded like, even though i quite like heartsounds. girl-fronted, really REALLY thrashy hardcore. FROM GEEERRRRMANY.

like i was expecting hardcore kind of hardcore, but the first riff of the first song starts, and i was all like "omg lol ther's no wai that this riff is going to explode like it sounds like it should; that would be like, totally LOL thrashy stuffs." and then it half develops, and THEN THE DRUMS GO INTO ACTUAL SPEED AND YER ALL LIKE HOLY FUCKING CHRIST IF I SAW THIS LIVE I WOULD REMEMBER HOW MUCH FUN MOSHING IS.

at which point you would probably mosh. and then theres some noodles and hardcore bits and EMOTIONS, probably, because people like jordan tinney enjoy having emotions in their music.

so listen to it. great intro, great outro, great middle.

All Pigs Must Die - S/T 2010

kinda generic like...thrash-core? is that a thing? clean production, real loud thrash vocals, great riffs and solos and shit, great cover art and band logo, but something about this is kind of off. i think it might be the levels. or how clean it sounds. or how loud the vocals are. the songs are all great but i wish they sounded as mean as they are. like, distort everything. je ne sais pas. play it loud, play it fast, play with the equalizer yourself.

update: i think i kind of figured it out. it feels like the actual music doesnt so much move as it does fill the pauses between lyrics. this is probably just a levels issue.

Bridges Out - Good Luck With Your Machine (2009)

Now, let me say that I am usually attracted to a band because of album art or their name, what have you. I'm a sucker for cool album art. Which is precisely what attracted me to this band, Bridges Out. I'd place them in the metalcore genre, really reminiscent of old Haste the Day, Grace Gale, all that shit. But, this is actually really good, and I'm also a sucker for clean vocals in this kind of music, and this band uses it to great effect. Download it, listen to it, beat me up if you hate it, praise me if you like it. I'm guessing the latter.

Enjoy.
