Freddy Todd - Neon Spectacle Operator [2011]

Are you happy I put the year tag? So this is a fucking HUGE release, in every sense of the word. Nearly 360 mb, 154 minutes long, 28 tracks annnnnnnd each song is BIG, lots of all over the place glitch-hop here. Very glitchy, no shortage of the beat repeater. It's really enjoyable and listen-y stuff, kind of like going through a Pretty Lights album. Put it on and just do stuff until you finish the whole thing, track to track is great. I haven't picked out a favorite track yet because it is a time-consuming release but I'm leaning towards "Cosmosauce (for Buddy)". I would say this is also a good album for the late hours in the night when you need to put something on in the background while you hang out because [x] is too e-tarded to pick songs out on his iPod. Ill-Esha and Elfkowitz collaborate on the song "Meeting up with Producer Friends on Mountain Sides". A lot of the song titles are gay but then again, such is the folly of this music. Intensely varied release, you're bound to find at least one song you like...then you can delete the rest (Dunah)!
