despite the fact that mogwai shit out song titles like its a fucking mad-lib (though i like to think they all just hang out a lot and these are all parts of different inside jokes they have), it is tough to deny their majesty. MAJESTY. plus, like....cmon. it's insanely fucking easy to say post rock is formulaic, and to point at any post rock song and go LOOK ITS FUCKIN TR00!, but if you remember any part of it, or if it does anything at all to you, there's a pretty solid chance it worked like it was supposed to.

plus as soon as i saw "youre lionel richie" i thought of "im jim morrison, im dead", which in turn made me think of anal cunt's songs that include "youre gay", "you look adopted", "you are an orphan", "you sell cologne", etc. which got me so excited i listened to a bunch of anal cunt again.
thats how you know a post rock album is good. it inspires you to listen to anal cunt without detracting from the album itself.
