U.K. Decay are one of those bands that I feel like gets overlooked as far as deathrock is concerned, but they are one of my favorites. Started out as a British punk band in the seventies and were one of the first to make the switch to the more gothic sound. With that being the case, they retained a lot of their punk roots to make this album full of both dark sounds as well as punk's speed and rhythms. This is the bands first goth release, I believe, and has a great dark, reverby, eerie feel. Lots of Satan here, too, so get on it.12.22.2010
