speaking of nostalgia and perfect albums. i have so many memories of this cd now. like finding it on accident while trying to name my band tycho, and gomez tripping the first time in my car, and dreaming of california, and reading john varley books in my room at 6 am, and smoking with kevin and cory while mike watched through the glass door.
so anyway. this is so much more than trip hop. its like everything that you like about explosions in the sky crammed into the non-shitty portishead stuff and then shot through a synthesizer, bass guitar, and laptop and suddenly theres the best album ever. scott hansen promised me a follow up album in the summer of 07 though, and theres still no word on that. placate yourself by buying all the iso50 prints and gluing them to your face.
