since i dont listen to a whole lot of similar shit, im going to latch onto the similar artists i do know, namely QOTSA and tom waits, with maybe a hint of current young widows terrifying strangeness and a LOT of millionaire - paradisiac strangeness (also pretty highly recommended). listen to ah i see/sweatshop and keep me home, then imagine splitting the difference for the rest of the album. then imagine that somewhere, everyone in europe is having such an absurdly better time than you are.
