i dont want to be that dude, but i dont really understand people who like black metal and dont like this sound. i know some people care about lyrics and message and production (or...lack thereof) and satan and zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

the more black metal i listen to, and the more of it i like, the more i think VC encapsulate how fucking absurd it is to really care about a sonic signature. i think josh and angela could run pitchfork much more accurately.

but maybe i just enjoy projecting my inevitable intoxication into a sound that suits me.
