look what i found! 75% of gaza pre-gaza.
and it's fucking terrifying, because you can hear them juuusttt starting to strain at their sound. gaza - east EP came out the same year (or this may have come out in 2005, and east in 2004), and comparing the two is like...fucking awesome.
i prefer gaza, but this is faaaaascinating, like gaza covers 90's emo songs. listen to this and then listen to hospital and cattle from east EP. LISTEN TO IT!
"Day of Less features some members of Gaza, but has a noticeably different sound (unlike Bird Eater's Utah). Lyrical themes of Gaza are evident in songs like "Magpie," so look out for misanthropy and animals. It's an oversimplification that doesn't do Day of Less justice, but this album sounds something like what would happen if Gaza did post-hardcore."
i have a nagging suspicion that gaza members should be in every band ever. theyre nice, and smart, and real batshit. i think...
