i regret not putting this up earlier. my favorite grind-anything album ever. swiss, girl singer (although its much harder than usual to tell), and fucking hilarious. the album never slows down unless its a joke, and holy shit everything is mixed to perfection. PERFECT. ALBUM.

i hate when people younger than me make amazing albums. also when they somehow make songs called kilauea that are physically making me hungry. its downright pavlovian. its very similar to tobacco in style of approach, but PAOTP has a completely different tone and beat and genre for each song.

so...somewhere between fuck buttons, tobacco, holy fuck, and lightning bolt. and hes definitely using microkorg samples for some songs.

oh wow. the first album ive heard out of russia in a while that has amazing production and a great sound and ahhhhh fuck its like East EP - era gaza mixed with opeth mixed with the chariot mixed with someone fucking amazing that does a lot of operatic vocals. neato stuff.


update: without expending any effort to verify this, im not so sure they are russian. because the singer, at least the one who does most of the vocals, has either a perfect american accent or is-
